Dr. Steven L. Cohen

Steven L. Cohen, D.D.S.
General Dentist

Dr. Cohen has been practicing dentistry in the Almaden Valley since 1992 and is a third generation dentist. He received his dental training at Georgetown University and the University of Southern California. His undergraduate degrees are in music and biochemistry and molecular biology.

Before becoming a dentist, Cohen worked as a musician, both performing and recording. Music is still a big part of his life. He serves as chairman of the membership committee at the Santa Clara County Dental Society, a member of the Santa Clara County Forensic Dental Identification Team and is involved with the Council on Membership at the California Dental Association. Dr. Cohen is the staff dentist at Caremeridian, a head trauma and spinal cord injury center in Gilroy, California. He is also on the board of directors of Young Audiences, a non-profit organization that is the largest provider of arts education for school children ( K-12 ) in the Bay Area.

Dr. Cohen loves being a dentist. He is honored that his patients have chosen him to provide their families dental health care. His mission statement is to have happy healthy well educated patients who refer their family and friends. " I am continually learning and developing new techniques and procedures to be able to better serve my patients."

Gloria S. Ramirez, R.D.A.
R.D.A./Front Desk

Gloria has been in the dental field for 14 years. She first started out as an assistant, then advanced to a registered dental assistant. Last she was trained to work at the front desk as well.

She also takes continuing education courses to help further her knowledge in dentistry.

"It's a fun and rewarding career", she remarks.

Audra Keiser, R.D.A.
Dental Assistant

Audra has been in the dental field for 14 years. She always knew she wanted to work in some type of dental or medical field. She has mainly worked with general dentists, but she has also worked with an oral surgeon, a periodontist and a pedodonist.

"I really like what I do because you get to meet new people, plus it's a great career and you get to help people improve their oral care as well as their smile!"

Kim Hatch
Financial Coordinator

Kim has been in the dental field for over 9 years. She has worked as both a dental assistant and Insurance/Financial Coordinator. She has found that she enjoys working in the business aspect of a dental office.

She also enjoys reading, playing the piano and sleeping.
